🔍 HOW TO IDENTIFY RANKED GEAR
- Ranked items have a small number (1–8) in the top‑right corner of the icon.
- Tooltip will say “Rank X” on the first line.
- Higher rank = higher base stats and more awakening potential.
- Two items of the same name can have different ranks – always check before buying on AH.
📈 UPGRADE PATH: RANK 7 → RANK 8 (EPIC 9.10)
- Obtain Rank 7 item (e.g., from Devildom or Sky Fortress).
- Collect Rank 8 Upgrade Materials: Boss Crystals (from Alcatraz), Mithril Ingots, and Rare Essences.
- Visit the Blacksmith NPC in Rondo → select “Upgrade Rank”.
- Success rate is not 100% (approx. 50% for Rank 7→8). Failure destroys the item – use Protection Scrolls.
- After upgrade, the item becomes Rank 8 with significantly higher base stats and additional awakening slots.
