Best Classes for Beginners

Mercenary (Deva)

The most beginner-friendly class in the game. Straightforward Wild Stream AoE rotation, naturally high HP, Immortality skill as a survival safety net. Effective solo and in groups without needing complex mechanics knowledge to perform well.

Deadeye (Asura)

Strong ranged DPS with good self-sustainability. Fights from a safe distance which reduces mistakes for newer players. Performs well in both solo farming and group dungeons. One of the cleaner skill rotations to learn.

Marksman (Gaia)

A flexible ranged class that teaches you the core ranged combat mechanics of Rappelz. Good solo capability, straightforward damage rotation, decent survivability. A solid introduction to the Gaia race and its creature synergies.

Best Classes for PvP

Slayer (Asura)

The dedicated PvP class. Burst damage assassin that deletes targets in seconds when played correctly. High skill ceiling — positioning and timing are essential. In the hands of a skilled player this is the most feared 1v1 class on any server.

Corruptor (Asura)

Dominates prolonged fights through DoT stacking and debuff control. Exceptionally strong in Crystal Altar where the fight duration favours sustained damage over burst. Less effective against highly mobile opponents but devastating in structured guild PvP.

Oracle (Deva)

The debuffer that wins or loses guild wars. A skilled Oracle that strips enemy buffs at the right moment completely changes the outcome of Crystal Altar battles. Not a beginner class but one of the highest-impact options in guild PvP at any skill level.

Best Classes for Farming

Void Mage (Asura)

The fastest solo farmer in the game by a significant margin. AoE spells clear entire screens of monsters in seconds. Glass cannon — fragile and requires investment to survive at endgame content — but no other class matches the raw farming speed of a well-geared Void Mage.

Beast Master (Gaia)

The best farming class for players who want creature involvement. Pet damage multipliers mean a well-staged pet deals enormous damage alongside your own attacks. High pet investment required but the payoff in farming efficiency is substantial at Stage 6+.

Magus (Gaia)

Strong AoE farming class with better survivability than Void Mage. Slightly lower peak damage but more forgiving in higher-level areas. A good choice for players who want farming efficiency without the fragility of a pure glass cannon build.

Always in Demand — Party Essential Classes

If you want to always find a party and be welcomed into any guild, play one of these three classes. They are in permanent demand across all content levels because every party needs them and there are never enough players playing them relative to demand.

Cardinal

Every dungeon party needs a Cardinal. Healer shortage means Cardinal players are actively recruited and often receive gear help from guilds just for showing up. If you enjoy being essential to your team’s survival, Cardinal is the highest-value class you can play.

Templar

A tank that knows how to hold aggro properly opens every door in the game. Guild dungeon runs, party dungeon farming, raid content — all require a reliable Templar. High survivability means this class is also forgiving in solo content despite being party-focused.

War Kahuna

Group buffs from War Kahuna raise the entire party’s performance by a measurable percentage. A War Kahuna in a farming party increases everyone’s output. In guild content they are as important as a healer. Often overlooked by players — always needed by guilds.
