Role

Deadeye is the Asura’s long-range poison specialist — equipping a crossbow and quiver of projectiles alongside thick hunter armor. A master of DoT stacking, evasion and speed. Deadeye applies layered poison effects that kill enemies over time while staying nearly impossible to hit. Strong in both PvE and PvP — the class rewards players who understand kiting, stack management and when to use utility skills.

Main Stats

Priority order — also useful for awakening gear:

Physical Attack Power
Direct damage on enemy. Your baseline damage stat — stack this through gear and awakening.
Dexterity SOULSTONE
P.Atk ×2.2 + Accuracy + HP through Wild Instinct passive. Primary SoulStone investment — the most efficient stat for Deadeye.
Agility *
P.Atk ×1.2 + Evasion + Attack Speed + HP through Wild Instinct. Secondary stat — provides attack speed, evasion and an HP bonus on top of damage.
P.Ignore *
Ignores enemy P.Def entirely on hits. Especially valuable against heavily armored targets and bosses.
P.Pierce
Walks through enemy P.Def. Pairs with P.Ignore for maximum armor penetration.
Critical Power SOULSTONE
Multiplies critical hit damage. Second SoulStone priority alongside Dexterity.
Attack Speed
Target: over 965 — this threshold is usually reached through buffs during active play. Below 965 the damage per second drops noticeably.
Accuracy
Determines whether attacks land. Already partially covered by Dexterity — ensure you have enough to not miss high-evasion targets in PvP.
Evasion
Unnecessary in PvE — useful in PvP against physical-attacking players. Partially covered by Agility already.
M.Resist
Useful in PvP specifically against mage classes. Not a priority for PvE builds.
P.Def / M.Def
Mostly gained from equipment. Don’t invest stats here.

Recommended Formation Pet

The recommended summon pet for Deadeye is an Ethereal Pixie. Her Stage Toggle lifts your P.Atk by 1% per level — currently maxing out at 13%. Since Deadeye wants to maximize P.Atk above all else, the Ethereal Pixie toggle is the most direct summon-slot DPS boost available. Higher stage Ethereal Pixies amplify this further.

Active Skills — PvE (Core)

AoE + DoT + Debuff Poison Shot

5 stacks on impact. Your primary AoE skill — applies poison DoT and a debuff to all targets hit. Max this early, it forms the foundation of all PvE rotations.

DoT + Debuff Piercing Arrow

Applies 1 stack per impact, building up to 5 stacks total. Layered DoT + debuff — keep this on your target at all times for the full stack effect.

DoT Cursed Arrow

Pure DoT. Add to your rotation to maximize sustained damage output over long fights.

AoE Cascade of Darkness

AoE damage skill. Use for clearing grouped mobs alongside Poison Shot.

AoE Vengeance Shot

AoE ranged burst. Rotate with Cascade of Darkness for sustained group damage.

AoE (Self-Centered) Hail of the Underworld

Small AoE around your own character. Use when enemies have already closed the gap — last resort burst before repositioning.

Utility Skills — Situational

Skill Effect Notes
Blinding Shot Blind chance Chance to blind target — while blinded the enemy cannot hit you. Strong in PvP against physical attackers.
Thrust Arrow Knockback Pushes enemy back and buys you time to turn and run. Does not work on bosses. Use to escape melee engagements.
Provoke Shot P.Def reduction / P.Atk boost USE WITH CARE. Reduces target P.Def by 30% but also boosts their P.Atk by 20%. Against hard-hitting targets this makes you take more damage — only use when confident about survivability.
Shadow Orb Random CC Applies one of four random effects: stun, petrify, hold or slow. Only the slow effect works on bosses. Excellent PvP utility — keep on hotbar for unexpected control opportunities.

Belt Setups

Recommended 3x S3 Cerberus + 2x S2 Unicorn or Skeleton K4

Best efficiency option — all cards can be bought or tamed quite easily. Cerberus provides DEX scaling, Unicorn or Skeleton K4 provides survivability. Solid baseline that doesn’t require rare taming runs.

High Performance 4x S4 Forest Pixie + 1x Undine S5

Maximum stat performance if you’re willing to farm Forest Pixie cards. High investment — taming Forest Pixies requires patience — but the output is noticeably better than the Cerberus setup.

Colorful Belt 2x S4 Forest Pixie + 1x S2 Unicorn + 1x S2 Harpy or Nightmare + 1x S0 Kentauros

A varied belt covering multiple stat areas. Slightly weaker than the full Forest Pixie setup but provides more flexibility and interesting synergy options. Kentauros S0 for early-game drop rate.

Recommended Boss Cards

Endgame Grandmaster Hector’s Card of Courage

Best-in-slot endgame boss card for Deadeye. Courage variant for maximum physical DPS output.

Endgame Devil Reviac

+200 Critical Power on proc — excellent on Deadeye where Critical Power is a SoulStone priority. Alternative to Grandmaster Hector depending on your current crit build.

Early Game Soul of Lunacy

Easy to obtain at Trainee Island. Healing on attack proc gives self-sustain while you build toward the endgame cards.

Key Tips

Stack your DoTs before bursting. Deadeye’s damage comes from layered poison effects. Apply Poison Shot (5 stacks) and Piercing Arrow (build to 5 stacks) before cycling your bigger skills — the combined DoT ticking while you cast is what makes Deadeye’s DPS output impressive.

Keep Attack Speed above 965. This threshold is the practical breakpoint for Deadeye’s skill cycling speed. Ensure your buffs are active before entering serious content — below 965 the rotation slows noticeably.

Maintain maximum range always. Deadeye’s evasion advantage from Agility and DEX only applies at range. Once enemies close to melee, you lose the dodge stat and take full hits. Kite constantly — back-pedal between skills if needed.

Use Provoke Shot with awareness. The 30% P.Def reduction is tempting but the 20% P.Atk boost on your target can get you killed if the enemy hits hard. Only use this when you are confident about survival or when you have a healer covering you.

Shadow Orb in PvP is a wildcard. The random CC effect means you can’t plan around a specific outcome — but any of the four effects (stun, petrify, hold, slow) is useful. Use it on targets who are chasing you or who you’re trying to burst before they react.
