Class Overview
Overlord is the melee warrior of the Gaia race — a durable frontline fighter who combines solid personal damage with creature support bonuses that add an extra layer of power not found in the pure melee classes of other races. Overlord is a reliable all-rounder that performs well across all content types and is recommended for Gaia players who prefer melee combat.
Primary Stat — STR and VIT
STR is your primary damage stat. VIT is secondary — Overlord has higher natural HP scaling than most melee classes and benefits more from VIT investment than Mercenary or Berserker. The recommended split is 60 STR to 40 VIT, making Overlord one of the more durable DPS classes in the game. DEX investment is minimal unless you are specifically building for an attack speed-focused approach.

Dragon or Bear variant at Stage 5+. Overlord pets that provide STR or physical attack bonuses complement the melee DPS playstyle. Bear pets provide VIT bonuses that further increase Overlord’s already solid survivability.

Earth Crush placement matters. The AoE radius is substantial but requires correct positioning to hit multiple targets. Stand in the centre of mob packs rather than the edge to maximise targets hit per cast.
Gaia Blessing before every major fight. The STR and VIT bonus is substantial — activating it before a boss fight or Crystal Altar engagement makes a measurable difference to both your damage output and survivability.
