Class Overview
Slayer is the dedicated PvP class of the Asura race and one of the most feared 1v1 fighters in all of Rappelz. Designed around burst damage and target elimination, a skilled Slayer can delete almost any target in a single combo window. The tradeoff is high skill requirements — Slayer is one of the most mechanically demanding classes and performs poorly in the hands of players who have not invested time into learning the mechanics.
Primary Stat — STR and DEX
STR is the primary damage stat for your burst combo skills. DEX is nearly as important — it increases attack speed, critical rate and dodge, all of which are core to Slayer’s hit-and-run PvP style. The recommended split is 55 STR to 45 DEX, with some players preferring equal investment. VIT is minimal — Slayer relies on killing the target before they can retaliate, not on surviving sustained damage.

Best Pets
Wind Falcon or swift physical pet at Stage 5+. Slayer benefits from pets that provide attack speed bonuses or physical damage burst to extend combo windows.
Wolf for attack speed, Koala for farming drop rate. In PvP scenarios replace Koala with a second Wolf variant for maximum attack speed during combat.
Key Tips
The combo is everything. Slayer lives and dies by its burst window. The core combo is Shadow Assault into Death Mark into Execution with all remaining burst skills in between. Practice this combo until it is muscle memory.
Vanish on cooldown is the biggest mistake. Vanish is your survival tool — do not use it just because it is available. Save it for situations where you are genuinely in danger and need to reset the fight.
Slayer is weak in PvE. Accept this and build around it. Do not try to make Slayer into a farming class — use it for PvP and Crystal Altar and farm with an alt if grinding is your main activity.
