Always enter PvP with full Spiracles. Both your main combos start with Spiracles — Energy Charge requires full stacks, and Spiracle Cannon needs them available. Replenish before every engagement, not mid-fight.

Attack speed is non-negotiable at higher gear levels. The Dragon set + Nightmare belt setup exists for a reason — without maximized attack speed, your auto-attack DPS between skill casts drops significantly. Don’t use the Nightmare setup below Dragon gear; the accuracy loss hurts too much.

Use Combo 1 proactively, not as an emergency. Energy Charge into Spiracle Rush restores both HP and MP — use it when you drop to 60-70% HP rather than waiting until you’re nearly dead. The recovery window after the combo is when you’re most vulnerable.

Drillbot in the belt is underrated for PvP. The WIS and M.Def from Drillbot (min S1) provide meaningful mitigation against mage classes in Crystal Altar. If you’re dying repeatedly to Void Mages or Corruptors, swap one Undine for a Drillbot and see if survivability improves.

P.Atk 800+ awakening is the most important single improvement you can make. Before chasing other awakenings, max out P.Atk on one piece — the raw damage increase dwarfs everything else at equivalent investment. Then fill STR, VIT and Accuracy across other pieces.

Three weapon types give genuine flexibility. The Energy Bomb burst is one of the hardest single hits in the game. Spiracle mechanics add a resource management layer that rewards planning. Longbow tree is a unique tool no other melee class has. Strong in PvP when combos land cleanly.

Spiracle management trips up new players — entering PvP with empty stacks is a common fatal mistake. PvE is solid but not top tier. The tanky vs DPS split makes gear decisions harder than most classes. Managing three weapon types mid-combat takes practice.
