Hits up to 10 nearby targets simultaneously. Spam this for massive AoE damage — your primary clearing skill.

Core AoE spells — apply before Vengeful Spirit spam for maximum damage output on grouped enemies.

Alternate between these two for consistent single-target damage on bosses or priority targets.

Heals you for a percentage of the damage dealt. Key survivability tool — use during heavy damage rotations to sustain HP without relying on a healer.

Apply shadow damage-over-time effects on targets. Layer these alongside your AoE fields for sustained damage that continues ticking between casts.

• Debuff application requires sequencing — disorganized play loses most of the class value

Apply Shadow Atrophia before every boss pull. The defense reduction benefits the entire party — not just your own damage. A Corruptor who opens with Shadow Atrophia contributes more to total party DPS than one who opens with Vengeful Spirit spam.

WIS is your damage stat — don’t be confused by INT. Occultism’s scaling from Wisdom is the reason Corruptor invests differently from Void Mage. Check your passive level and verify the WIS M.Atk scaling number in-game before deciding on gear.

Use Life Leech proactively. Don’t wait until you’re low on HP — weave Life Leech into your rotation during every pull to maintain HP. Combined with WIS-based Max HP from Occultism, a well-played Corruptor is significantly harder to kill than a Void Mage.

In Crystal Altar, target enemies who aren’t moving. Corruptor punishes stationary players — enemies focused on attacking your teammates are the least likely to reposition out of your fields. Place AoE effects where they will stand, not where they currently are.

Windy Shackle in PvP is underrated. The movement speed reduction on Wide Windy Shackle is enough to prevent enemies from escaping your field AoEs. Use it immediately on anyone who tries to run out of your damage zones.
