🃏 RAPPELZ SKILL CARDS & EMBLEMS GUIDE – UPGRADING SKILLS & CLASS VISUALS
Skill Cards and Emblems are two powerful upgrade systems in Rappelz. Skill Cards boost specific skills beyond their normal maximum level, significantly increasing damage and utility. Emblems provide cosmetic changes to your character’s appearance while also granting useful stat bonuses. This guide covers how to obtain, upgrade, and equip both systems, plus the Emblem Upgrade Stones and the Card Upgrader NPC.

| Skill Cards – Boost Specific Skills | |
| Basics What are Skill Cards? | Skill Cards are special items that, when equipped in the Skill Card interface (hotkey ‘K’ → Skill Card tab), increase the level of a specific skill beyond its normal maximum. For example, a +5 Fireball Skill Card makes your Fireball skill act as if it were 5 levels higher, increasing damage, range, or secondary effects. Each skill can have only one Skill Card equipped at a time, and the card’s level cannot exceed the character’s Job Level (or certain server limits). |

| Skill Card Upgrading (Card Upgrader NPC) | |
| Upgrading How to Upgrade Skill Cards | Visit the Card Upgrader NPC in Rondo (near the Skill Card merchant). You need:
|
| Risks Protection & Joker Cards |
💡 Strategy: Focus Skill Cards on your most‑used skills first (e.g., main damage skill, key heal, primary CC). Wait for “Skill Card success rate +10%” events before attempting high‑level upgrades. |
| Emblems – Cosmetic & Stat Bonuses | |
| Emblems What are Emblems? | Emblems are visual modifications that appear floating above your character’s head or shoulders, indicating prestige, event participation, or class mastery. Unlike Skill Cards, Emblems also provide passive stat bonuses (e.g., +2% All Stats, +50 HP). There are many emblem types, including:
|
| Upgrading Emblem Upgrade Stones | Emblems can be upgraded (typically up to +5 or +10) using Emblem Upgrade Stones. Each upgrade increases the emblem’s stat bonus and may change its visual effect (brighter, larger, or additional particles). Upgrade stones drop from high‑level dungeons (e.g., Parallel World, Devildom), are sold in the Cash Shop, or awarded from events. The success rate decreases with level; failure destroys the emblem unless a Protection Scroll is used. |
| Equipping How to Equip Emblems | Open your character window (hotkey ‘C’), go to the “Emblem” tab (or a separate tab labelled “Decorative”). Drag the emblem from your inventory into the emblem slot. Only one emblem can be equipped at a time. The emblem’s visual effect will then appear above your character. You can hide the visual effect while retaining the stats via the in‑game settings (“Show Emblem” checkbox). |
🎨 COMMON EMBLEMS & STAT BONUSES (AT MAX LEVEL)
| Emblem Name | How to Obtain | Stat Bonus (Example) | Visual Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assassin Emblem | Reach Assassin (Slayer) Master Class + quest | +2% Critical Rate | Dagger icon above head |
| Death Emblem | Defeat Devil Skeleton raid boss 10 times | +3% P.Atk / M.Atk | Skull with red glow |
| Dragon Emblem | Raise a Dragon pet to Stage 5 + level 100 | +500 HP, +2% All Stats | Winged serpent |
| Itachi Emblem | Limited‑time event (e.g., Valentine’s, special promotion) | +10% Cast Speed | Red‑black crow feather |
| Skull Emblem | Reach PvP rank: “Slayer” (500 kills) | +1% PvP damage | White skull with crossbones |
| Wing Emblem | Complete Project 150 (Job Level 150) | +5% Movement Speed | Angel wings behind shoulders |
💡 Emblem upgrading advice: Focus on a single emblem that matches your class (e.g., Assassin for physical DPS, Death for all‑around). Upgrade it to at least +3 before working on a second one. Use event periods with “Emblem upgrade success +10%” for best results.
🗺️ BEST SKILL CARD FARMING SPOTS
- Island of Forgotten Gods (level 170+): Elite monsters have higher drop rates. Use drop rate buffs.
- Devildom (DD) dungeon (level 175+): The 60 rooms contain many elite mobs; you can farm the first 2–3 stages repeatedly.
- Parallel World (level 175+): Final bosses have a chance to drop rare Skill Card boxes.
- Alcatraz dungeon (level 240+): End‑game dungeon with the best drop rates for high‑level Skill Cards.
- Event dungeons: During special events (e.g., Golden Week), temporary dungeons often drop exclusive Skill Cards.
⚠️ Skill Card drop rates are intentionally very low. Be prepared for long farming sessions. Using «Drop Rate +25%» scrolls during monthly events is highly recommended.
