Rappelz Patch Notes 2026 — Updates, Fixes & History

Vulcanus / Lava equipment: the update introduced custom Vulcanus decorative equipment with set effects, on-hit skill effects and random stats including Critical Power. The set consisted of Lava Helmet, Armor, Gloves, Boots, 2H Weapon or 1H Weapon + Shield, and Lava Wings. Materials from the Vulcanus dungeon could be exchanged with Hector in Horizon or Laksy.

Power of the Gods: while hunting monsters, characters could temporarily receive Hephaestus Godly Armor, Ares Immense Power or Artemis Grace. If Grace was already active, the system could apply Everlasting Love to increase item drop rate instead.

Leveling and farming changes: the Daily EXP & DROP buff cooldown was reduced by 50%, global monster spawns were reworked, and most bosses were changed from a 10-minute respawn to 10 seconds, with Underground and Circus bosses excluded because of T-Coin quest rewards. Abyss drop populations and Styx respawns were also adjusted.

Pet-card and Treasure Koala changes: drop rates were increased for Death Gladiator, Ethereal/Forest/Wind Pixie, Crystal Golem, Bloodthirsty Slaughterer, Grandmaster Hector and Crystal Spider cards. Treasure Koala, Event Chests and EXP Pixies could spawn while actively hunting in custom Level 150+ maps; EXP Pixie maximum spawns were increased and Treasure Koala frequency was raised.

Global Monster Hunt: field and dungeon kills contributed toward weekly server-wide goals. Reaching successive thresholds activated stackable global buffs, with progress and activated buffs resetting weekly.

Lak storage redesign: Lak storage moved away from necklaces and into bags / Boss Crystals. The archived patch listed fixed storage from 100k Lak on the Trainee's Bag up to 950k on the Mythical Calamity Boss Crystal.

Death Match and endgame: Free Death Match gained mixed monster groups with faster respawns and remained an always-on PvP zone. A reworked Level 200+ Moonlight Underground EXP instance was added, while Treasury of Spirits remained Level 205+ and received Boss Crystal/drop/spawn adjustments.

Ares Final Awakening: the Vulcanus release also documented the random ranked Ares Awakening system. Identified items could receive one locked random awakening stat, with special Mythical/Legendary/Epic/Rare effects depending on the item slot.

GM systems: the update reworked the Katan Monster & Boss Spawn event, added an in-game GM Events NPC and expanded TGM permissions for temporary server events and Horizon Lake boss spawning.

Monster that are above abyss 4+ maps has now fixed positions like devildom, preventing them to group attack you once you come near...
They react once you attack them, we made it like this so new players won't die instantly rushing in these monster groups.

Vulcanus, Circus & Labyrinth
Dungeon type reverted back to what it was before
-Warning message added, please do not create party inside these dungeons your character will be bugged and you won't be able to re-enter.

Final Awakening System Re-worked
Please re-awaken your items at The Trial Guardian in Horizon / Laksy Town [No Cost]
Stats obtained on items should work fine now

You will now find Monster groups spawning from different maps inside the death match free map, you can warp using the menu option selecting Free or by teleporting through the priest teleporter in Horizon / Laksy Town, these monster groups re-spawn faster to speed up the leveling and farming certain items. But be aware PVP is always on in this map

Golden Spin & Mystery Box Exchange option moved from T-Coin Trader to Spin & Win Trader
Exchange option also moved to certain other npcs
There were to many options available that makes certain categories not visible to players with lower game window resolution.
The [More] category has additional exchange options

Code adjustment
Game server "error" logs solved adjusting background codes
Monster kills counter and npc interactions re-worked a bit on certain to prevent the game server to get overflooded with log messages..

Additional Treasury of Spirits monsters will spawn next to the Boss to make it more challenging and also a chance to drop new items & ranked weapons from slain them.

Existing items bug solving
While solving ranking weapons stats, i've come past existing item bugs that might be causing client crashes and player dc cause of hidden buged item values, i've made some changes, so let's hope for no client crashes or atleast reduce it by 50-75% that would be great!

New Ranked Weapons Item bug solved
P.Attack and Magic Attack were unbalanced, especially magic attack compared to older weapons.
Item stats are compared to Abyss latest weapons, the higher the rank the more p.atk / m.atk + enhancement bonus [Currently not visual visible the changes, but it has been corrected in the background] client patch under development with more fixes
[Rare] Weapons can only be unlocked through Pet Treasury Scroll | Adv BPOC works on Epic, Legendary and Mythical Weapons.

Treasury Of Spirits Map Update:
Before only dungeon ticket 1 was required to enter this place, now a level requirments is pusht to this place, you'll need to be atleast Lv 205 and up in order to enter with the ticket.
All monsters slain in this map will now be counted, if a certain amount of total kill is achieved, this will spawn Bosses and Monsters in the Tower of Time 2! | Lv 205+ to enter.
[Rare] & [Epic] Boss Crystal drop rate slightly increased
Guardian of Hell Crystal de-buff bug solved decreasing the max level of de-buffs

New Treasury of Spirits Map
Entry Ticket 1 and Lv 205+ required to enter
-Your character will obtain a dungeon buff for 1 hour to farm inside this map, once the buff is over you'll get kicked back to town.
Inside the new map the entry ticket 1 also drop from monsters if you're lucky enough!

Pre-Release Final Awakening Arrives!
"Base" Final Awakening is created especially for our newly joined players to help make their life a bit easier to progress in our server, the service cost is free.
The only requirments is to upgrade item parts to +20/+21/+22/+23/+24/+25 to unlock Final Awakening on the item part.
-Item Parts that are identified by a scroll: philosopher, hammer only works this way, so for example PW gear, Nusy, Dragon, Guardian hammered set, Circus skin belt, circus, blue eyed existing and new weapons and shields.

Armor Part: up to +6k Max HP/MP
Gloves Part: up to +6% Atk/Cast Speed!
Boots Part: up to +120 All Stats!
Main Hand Weapon Part: up to +3k P.Atk/M.Atk!
Second Hand Weapon Part: up to +300 Accuracy/M.Accuracy!
Belt Part: up to +3k P.Def/M.Def!

Available NPC:
Trial Guardian in Horizon & Laksy Town
Blacksmith in every city
